Hello! I’m Lyndsay.

I sometimes answer to Lynds, mommy, hun, and even ‘hey you’. But I’d love to be called your family or newborn photographer in Boston!

I’m a redheaded, coffee loving, carb-o-holic, mother to three crazy active boys who spend most of their days playing in mud. If you’re looking for a family, wedding, or newborn photographer in Boston, I’m your girl.

When I am not out photographing your newborn, family, or wedding, you’ll likely find me barefoot in sweats in my backyard…or cooking up something delicious in my kitchen! You can read more about how I first got interested in photography and started my business here.

Having the opportunity to document YOUR version of this beautiful-crazy-wonderful life is what fuels my creativity. I don’t want my clients to look back on year of overly posed, perfect pictures and forget the real moments. I want to document their spouse’s joy on their wedding day and the tears of joy shed when they welcomed their first child to the world.

Let’s create something beautiful together.

TAKE a peek at my world:

"Our images are so special and really captured our joy and the sweet personality of our little girl. Lyndsay did a great job going beyond the typical posed shots and making our photos feel authentic. We will treasure them forever."

what style photographer are you?

I like to say I am a healthy mix of documentary and portrait photography which the photographer's community has deemed a "lifestyle photographer". Lifestyle photography is a fancy term basically meaning that I find joy in photographing genuine interactions and emotion in a more beautiful way. I sometimes advise you where to stand. I'll tell you how close you'll want to snuggle up to each other and I may prompt your kiddos into being their adorable selves. Other times I am a fly on the wall while you dance together for the first time as husband and wife.

Do you book sessions at all times of day?

Part of being a primarily natural light photographer is advising my clients on when the light is most flattering. The best time for outdoor sessions is the last couple hours of daylight, aka the "golden hour".

What should we wear?

Most of all, you should wear something that makes you feel good. The trick is to coordinate what makes you feel good with what your family is planning to wear!

Comfortable, well-fitting clothes are key to a successful photography session. Check out my family galleries to see what other clients have coordinated!

My newborns have it the easiest. A diaper alone or paired with a neutral onesie is ideal.

Do your prices include our photographs?

Yes! I have dabbled with different ways of pricing my images but I keep returning to my gut which is that I want my clients to have and treasure all of the beautiful images I deliver. Because of this, my pricing includes pre-session communication, outfit styling, session time and talent, and an online hosted gallery with a minimum amount of guaranteed images with print release.
